This is your job:

  • Install, configure, and manage IBM MQ, HiveMQ, and IBM App Connect environments.
  • Implement integration solutions using middleware technologies to ensure seamless communication between applications.
  • Manage Kafka clusters, including Kafka producers and consumers, and ensure efficient data streaming and processing.
  • Utilize Confluent Cloud for managing and scaling Apache Kafka infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation and management of middleware environments on Linux platforms.
  • Apply basic knowledge of Azure Networking to integrate middleware solutions with cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of middleware systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to middleware, Kafka, and integration solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for middleware configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and other IT teams to support and enhance middleware solutions

Your qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in middleware engineering, with a focus on IBM MQ, HiveMQ, and IBM App Connect.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Shell Scripting
  • Knowledge of Confluent Cloud, and experience with Apache Kafka procedures and structures.
  • Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex middleware issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other IT teams.
  • Excellent English language skills
