In November, DIGITALL was honored to attend the Southeast Europe Innovation, Technology, and Sourcing (SEE ITS) Summit, which brought together around 300 leading experts, executives, and innovators from the region to discuss the essential trends and developments in the high-tech and knowledge-intensive industry. Teodor Mihaylov, our AI expert, joined a panel discussion and provided insightful examples of how AI is impacting organizations and how we have successfully implemented AI in our operations to drive efficiency and results.
The third edition of the SEE ITS Summit, held on November 7th and 8th, 2024, in Sofia, Bulgaria, was titled "Unfolding Future Horizons." It featured keynote speeches from industry leaders, panel discussions on emerging trends, and exhibitions of cutting-edge products and services. Organized by AIBEST and focused on Southeast Europe, the conference united a diverse group, from start-ups to multinational corporations, and fostered collaboration to drive innovation and growth in the tech sector.
The SEE ITS Summit kicked off on November 7th, featuring roundtable discussions that delved into the future of the high-tech and knowledge-intensive industry. On the event's second day, our seasoned AI expert, Teodor Mihaylov, participated in a discussion on “Leading through the great disruption: Adapting to an AI-driven world of work”. Along with other business executives and industry professionals, they discussed how AI is reshaping the labor market and work practices and how organizations can navigate these changes.
As part of his talk, Teodor pointed out that at DIGITALL, we see tangible results from using AI, such as improved efficiency, allowing us to make data-driven decisions and anticipate market trends. “We use AI to automate routine tasks such as data collection and processing, which allows us to reallocate human resources to more creative tasks and focus on more strategic activities,” commented Teodor. He also gave examples of chatbots and virtual assistants that significantly improve customer support.
In his speech, Teodor also outlined that implementing AI in an organization requires a well-thought-out strategic plan. This means involving key leaders committed to driving the initiative forward and fostering a culture where employees are adaptable and open to change.
The SEE ITS Summit culminated in the SEE ITS Awards 2024, which were presented during a one-night event. Nine companies, including DIGITALL, were honored with these prestigious awards for outstanding contributions to best practices, business excellence, and the development and growth of the sourcing and technology industry in Southeast Europe. DIGITALL won the “Service Provider of the Year” category, marking the third consecutive year that the company has been honored with a SEE ITS Award.
